Spring time

After a long, predominantly grey, and foremost cold winter, it’s spring again! Time for new things, and catch up with things long overdue. Running errands, and with a bit of time to spare, I thought I’d take the B-roads through the famous Dutch flower fields with daffodils, hyacinths and tulips. Eventhough the center of this colorful spring show is only 30minutes away from the studio, I’ve never – ever – actually seen them properly, let alone to stop to watch them more closely.

Playing the tourist in my own neighborhood, I took an afternoon off to admire the sights. I even brought along a camera, to complete the picture, so to speak. Shooting flowers isn’t really my thing, and it felt rather awkward. However, I returned home with a few snaps here and there to add to our vast variety of images in our collection.
